Viability (it allows for one code library to be distributed to multiples platforms). Performance (there is no proper optimization for platforms) Its slow because it runs on a framework called Electron that trades: If it does turn out to be the third issue, then I highly recommend contacting the Notion team to see if they can do anything for you. Since none of my devices are affected, I don't know exactly how it works, nor what devices are affected, but this might be your issue. How old is your device? If you're using the Play Store app instead of running it from your browser, then that might be the source of your speed issue. Are you using it from your browser, or from an app? I ended up back with Notion a few months ago, and it runs great both from my browser on my Chromebook and on my Android app. Before the more recent updates, the Notion Android app was slower than molasses in January, which (combined with the previous block limit on the free version) was a huge dealbreaker for me at the time. The only time I ever had issues with Notion being slow was when I was using the app.
